Great miraphone BBb all around 4/4 tuba. I bought this tuba brand new in 2003, and it is a great playing horn. Has a beautiful sound, great working valves, though the stoppers need to be replaced. All slides work very well. This horn has the basic scratches and dents that come with 3 years of heavy use. The ring has fallen off of the second valve slide, but the second valve slide itself is still very much functional. The cork on the spit valve could also stand to be replaced, but at the moment works. Overall an excellent horn, I’ve played it in orchestra, quintet, band, and solo work. Great for non-professional players, a very functional horn with a lot of character.

Comes with:
Hard Case (VERY well used but still functional)
Infamous Glenn Cronkhite Softcase (400 dollar value)
Tony Clements Orchestral mouthpiece (200 dollar value)

Solo’s I’ve played with this horn:
Gregson
Vaughan Williams
Bencriscutio
Haddad
Carnival of Venice

Asking price is $3500 (currently sells on www.wwbw.com for 5,499 brand new without case and mouthpiece). I will take the highest bidder

I’m just trying to sell this tuba because I’m a college student at Arizona State University who needs to buy an F Tuba (I already own a CC) and those are the two key’s of tuba I’m supposed to have, so I have no use for my BBb anymore.

Location of the horn is San Jose, California, Buyer pays for shipping.

Here are some pics.
