FS: F. Schmidt 5 valve BBb

Post by vincej »

Hi all,
I am selling my F. Schmidt tuba. It is a 4/4 BBb, silver plated. It has five valves, 4 pistons, 1 rotor, and has a 19" bell. This is the exact same as the VMI 3302, I believe. Everything works great, used just under a year.
Anyway, I am selling for $5000, which includes the hard case. I may throw in the gig bag (Reunion Blues) for another $125.
I am selling because I just purchased a 6/4 CC, and I also need to pay for school, so I have to have it sold before July 19th.
I live in Georgia, so if anyone around wants to try it, I would be more than happy to arrange a place to meet you. A friend of mine is borrowing it for an army band audition, but I will have it back by next Monday.
More info and pics can be obtained from:
Vince Jackson,
my email is: vcj0923@students.kennesaw.edu
Thanks so much.

Vince,

Best of luck seeling the horn. What 6/4 did you end up getting?

Doug,
I bought the Mel Culbertson Neptune model, the piston version. It's pretty fantastic.
