I have a black Soundwear gig bag for euphonium for sale. I bought it hoping it would fir the Willson front action euphonium but it doesn't. It does fit every other euphonium in the known universe.

It was used two or three times before I noticed it put pressure on the valve stems and the case went in the closet; it is virtually new.

I was first made aware of this model horn last night. (I am totally unaware of what euphs are available these days.) I saw a bunch of photos of one online and was interested in is as a possible tenor tuba. So I must ask: How is it?

Good luck selling the bag. That is a great one and it is too bad that it failed to fit the way that you had hoped on the front action horn.
I actually have the Canadian Brass version but, yes, it is an excellent tenor tuba. The sound is large and fat but still focused. The pitch is amazing. I like the posture that the front action gives me as opposed to the standard configuration of a euphonium, too.

There are not many of these floating around but I've heard that Willson is going to restart production. As you know, individual horns vary but I've played two good ones. BTW this one came from Baltimore Brass.

JeremyI wrote:Somewhat off topic again--but did you consider adding something to the horn (Velcro maybe?) to keep the valves depressed while in the case? Or removeing the valve springs.
I thought about the velcro option but decided I want a gig bag that fits instead.

Removing the valve springs each time is too much work for me. Still, those are good ideas and thanks for the suggestion.
