I am selling a used St. Petersburg BBb. It is nickel plated, and 4 valve. Dont let the St. Petersburg name throw you off. It is wonderful for any beginner or advancing player who wishes to remain in BBb. I have purchased a CC horn, so the BBb is quite useless to me. I study with Phil Sinder at Michigan State University and even he has commented on the tone produced. For a 4 valve BBb, this is a very nice horn indeed.

There is some wear on spots, mostly the nickel wearing to the brass, as is expected with use. There are only about 3 dings, and scratches on the bottom. One TINY ding on the bell, barely noticeable to anyone. My selling price is $2,000(o.b.o). Please email me if you are interested. I will post pictures up in the next few days.

Comes with a MR mouthpiece and a MTS hard case.

Buyer pays shipping. I am located in Lansing Michigan.

It's a refitted Mirafone 1290. Amazing sound, and evenness. It's a tad long though, but I can deal. By refitted, what was done was the Tuning slides were all moved up and to the left, so they are probably the easiest slides to move without moving the arm much.

It's a great BBb for the price. I was messin' around with after studio last month and it can really peel paint! Kind of make me rethink the whole 4/4 german rotary thing. It would be of nice to have that kind of raw power playing Prokofiev's R+J. The low F's were quite scary indeed; yep, lots o' fun...

haha...yeah, you were having maybe a little too much fun. I will miss the bombastic quality it has. My CC is very good, round full tone, but not the same kind as the BBb.
