I am selling my Getzen G-50.

Horn is in great shape. It has been my only horn for the past year. These horns are extremely versatile and can be played in any ensemble, sounds great for solos too, I do not experience the problem that some report with the D above the staff (d 1).

Horn has normal wear from use, very minor scratches and only a few (4-5) dings. Silver plate is about 98%... some wear on the first valve slide. Pictures available.

Horn comes with a Dolly Bags gig bag. Gig bag is in great shape, but some of the plastic inserts are cracked, but they still protect the horn well, it is the only case I’ve used for the past year (of course I am very careful)... gig bag is still under warrantee and can be sent to Dolly Bags for free repair...

I use only Hetman Lubricants on my horns and will provide a set of oils with the horn.

selling the horn because i am getting a new... BABY!
and also the military provides me with a proficient instrument... so i am able to get by without my own for the time being...

it is true that the bell is short and closer to your head... but that is common among other tubas... i do not find it to be a problem when playing... takes a little getting use to hearing yourself that way, but it is great when you are doing gigs outside... but it is definitely not all you can hear...
