CC Tuba Needed!! $3,000+or- limit

I'm a tuba student at the University of Tennessee. I switched to CC about a year ago and have been looking for my own tuba every since. I've been playing on the school's Wilson and I love it. Unfortunately it's out of my price range. I'm looking for a good versatile tuba for as close to $3000 as I can get. If anyone knows of any for sale of has any they're selling I would be very thankful.

There's also a Cerveny in that price range at Dillon Music right now.
$3000 +

still with the low price, it's just out of my range right now. But by chance if I do come across a few hundred laying on the street... Can you tell me more about that particular tuba. I was in line to buy a 4 valve Cerveny from Dillon.... But alas... I called a few hours too late.... And I had been negotiating with the original owner who had it on consignment. We had everything arranged. I called..."Too Late". Oh well. I don't mean to sound like a sob story but I really need my own horn. As much as I love playing the school's Wilson, it's not mine. and I couldn't dream of affording as of right now. I've been looking for a year or so. But sob story over. Let me know all you know about the Cervany CCB6-1-5MR at Dillon. Thanks

Since you've considered a 4 rotor CC, you really should look at the Schneider 4 rotor CC at Baltimore Brass.
They are generally 60s or 70s era B&S stencils that are well built, play well, and usually offer up pretty solid intonation. I've tried a few over the years and have found that I like them more than 186s and the like.
Edit: I'd highly recommend giving Dave Fedderly (Baltimore Brass) a call. He's a straight shooter that doesn't sell junk. He will give you an honest run down of the tuba.
At $2400, you'd have enough left to get a nice case for it.
