Thanks Bob. I have my eye on that horn, but I am guessing it will shoot up towards the end. New price is about $3100, but no one has any in stock.
If it goes too high, I have a line on an Edwards from one of the President's Own Bass players.
Having played both Edwards and the Getzen, its just a matter of paying to have the option to customize or having a stock horn.

I would have never thought it would be easier to find a couple of original Holton 345s or original front action Martin BAT than a bass trombone.

I appreciate the help Bob, but a 1062 is pretty easy to find right now, and I am really looking for axial flow setups. The Bach 50T3, while it has axials, is no where near the quality of construction as the Edwards or Getzen axial flows, way too many quality issues whith Bach's axial valves. I have yet to play a Bach that was worth the money ($5,000

).
Im upgrading from a traditional rotory valve bass to an Edwards or Getzen.
Im on a waiting list for new horns (hopefully by December is what I am told

).
Luckily I am patient.
Finally!
