Dear Friends:

It’s time to clear out some of my low brass arsenal for much needed cash flow (buying a new house). Therefore the following horns are for sale. I will pay shipping within the continental United States. Trials are acceptable, but prospective buyer will pay return shipping if not interested. Below are descriptions of the instruments. PT-6 (CC) Tuba:
-5 Rotary Valves
-Silver
-Excellent Condition (few minor scratches, no dents)
-Impeccable intonation, with even, consistent sound throughout registers
-Top-loading gig back (Sterling/Custom Music) included
-Played this horn with Sotto Voce Quartet, and blends exceptionally well
-$7450 OBO (new rotary PT6 sells for $10,500 @ Custom)

Besson CC Tuba (995):
-4 Piston Valves (vented) + 1 Rotary Valve
-Silver
-Very Good Condition (few minor scratches and easily removable dents)
-Good intonation, but must move 1st and 4th slides (easily accessible and moveable)
-Besson Hard Case included
-I took this horn to the runner-up spot at a Navy Band Audition
-This horn was previously owned by Andy Carlson of the Navy Band
-I’ve played dozens of Besson 995’s over the years—this one IS special
-$6450 OBO (new Bessons CC’s will sell for $7800 (I’m told))

Bach Stradivarius 50A3 Bass Trombone:
-Professional bass trombone (0.562")
-dual independant Thayer valves tuned to F and Gb. -Open wrap valve tubing.
-9.5" one-piece hand-hammered yellow brass bell
-brass outer slide tubes
-seamless chrome-plated nickel silver inner slide tubes
-Very Good Condition (few minor scratches, excellent slide)
-Bach Wooden Hard Case included
-$2995 OBO (new 50A3 sells for $4329 @ Hickeys)
