Gee... it kind of looks like these...
The difference seems to be that the valve paddles are slanted, but other than that they look the same.
It is a very nice looking horn though! Somebody will be very lucky to get it!

Give Steve Dillon a call (
http://www.dillonmusic.com/). He's not only owner of one of the biggest brass retailers in the U.S., but also a brass history buff (especially with American companies like Conn and King). He buys and sells more vintage instruments than anyone, and might be able to put a fair dollar figure on that horn.

It's worth whatever somebody's willing to pay for it. Appraisals don't always translate to what the market will bear.
Put it for sale on Ebay with an extremely well written ad and lots of detailed pictures with no reserve and find out (what Mike Lynch is willing to pay for it).

Don't sell on ebay, you should have no problem finding a buyer on tubenet or basscleffbrass.com or the alike.

I think you should donate it to me. You could claim it on your taxes!! I'm a non-profit BBb tuba player-wannabe(stuck in a CC tuba world), who is pining for your horn, but needs to sell almost all of the brass in my house to pay off all the other stuff that I haven't paid for yet.
If you CAN'T just straight up GIVE it to me, I'll have to wait until the new owner lets me toot on it, just so he/she can get me to stop asking,"So, can I try your tuba?!"
(I wish I was a trust-fund baby!)

P.S. "tax deductable!!!!"

I've got one that's quite similar. The only marking on it is "KINGROSS". I've yet to hear a credible story as to its origin.
