it was a few years ago, but at the time they would actually play test them for you over the phone... it was really cool, and they were super nice people... I'm not sure they still play test them on the phone, but if they don't offer I would ask.. I might be tempted to part with mine here shortly, but that is only because I'm about to move and really don't think Uncle Sam will be able to get my didge to my next assignment without damage... we'll see... If I sell it I know I will buy another as soon as I get there... Good luck in your search, and if I can help in any other way don't hesitate to ask...

If you are just learning, start out with one of the modern didges. Don't get the $28 ones, try some of the other PVC didges.
