Cool -- didn't know the Miraphones were any good with "false tones" .... ! I've just never heard anyone use "open" for Eb on a Miraphone. Nice.

I know it well and it is a great instrument. I played it when it was traded in to the Brasswind and the sound is wonderful - very warm, great low register and very good tuning - and with plenty of power when you need it. If I needed another BBb, this would be the one. Well worth the price.
