York Monster EEb. Bell in engraved "J.W. York and Sons". Excellent candidate for a project (Eb or C) or to simply fix up. 19" bell and 32 1/2" overall length.

Condition of the bell and branches rates about an 8 with no major dents, tears, or holes whatsoever. The guard on the side of the horn is in great shape. The bow guard looks to have been off at one time and put back on (so I assume the bow itself has been off at one time). Silver plating rates about a 4-5 with extensive tarnish and stains.

The horn appears to be in it's original, unaltered configuration with all of the original stock bracing (one of the braces is unsoldered).

Valves move but seem to leak somewhat.

This could be a fantastic instrument, I just do not have the time to get it so.
