Hello everyone,

I'm selling a used York brass sousaphone with the usual wear and tear and dings and dents. Despite these cosmetic issues, this sousa plays and sounds great! It would be a good fit for a dixieland band, marching band, or just to have at home.

This sousaphone comes with a hard wooden case, but with no handles or wheels.

The bell is 26 inches in diameter. It's a little worn compared to the rest of the horn, but put together looks and sounds great.

The big thing which I did with this sousa was to fix the lower pipe and have it lacquered. This will fit into a specially made gooseneck which you'll need to keep since it's the only one that can fit into the receiver. In all, you'd be getting the horn, case, gooseneck and bits. Sorry, but no mouthpiece.

I do have pictures of this horn for you to look at and to make a decision. Simply e-mail to me and I'll send them out to you.

For those of you who are repair specialists, this would be a great opportunity for you to get something, fix up the dents, re- lacquer it and then possibly re-sell it for a good price.

My price for everthing is $800. Checks or money orders only please. This doesn't include shipping. I plan to send this via Greyhound since I've done business with them in the past and have found they do a great job in getting packages on time, in one piece, and at a reasonable price without all the hassles.

I would note that this sousa won't be shipped out until after August 26 since I would need to use it for a parade.

I'd like for someone to buy this before it goes to the wonderful world of E-bay.

Thank you for looking. Any questions or picture requests, please PM or e-mail me.

I'd also be interested in seeing pictures, if the horn is still FS
