This cimbasso plays well in tune with a very characteristic sound; great for Verdi, Pucinni and modern works calling for for this instrument. It might also work well as a bass trombone substitute in big band jazz. Full chromatic range to the pedals. Bore is .687", 10.5" bell. Two-piece hard case included for $5750.

That would be worth the drive just for the play-test!! Looks like a fun horn. Is that the beel section from a marching baritone/flugabone?
