I just got these two mouthpieces gold plated at Dillons because I have developed an allergic response to silver. The gold didn’t work for me so I guess I will be 100% stainless from now on.
1976 Conn Helleberg 7B—IMO this mouthpiece feels heavier and projects more than the current models (not scientifically verified

). Originally gold plated, and the plating had started to wear, so I had Dillons do a prep and replate. They did a great job and the mouthpiece could pass for new. I played on it from 76-79 and then put it away and it has been in storage until I took it out to replate. Played on it for two days after it was replated and then realized I can no longer use gold. Not sure what this is worth but I spent $75 on the prep and plating-- so how about

Conn Helleberg 120S-ON HOLD—Bought it new (silver) last year, played on it for two monthes. It was in new condition, except for shank marks, when I sent it to be gold plated. Put it in my horn twice since it was plated.
$50 plus $5 shipping OBO.
