From the pictures, it doesn't look too horrible. I'd be happy to take a look at it. I know I still have one or two of those leadpipes laying around in my old shop in Missouri, if we need one. Daryl

Looks like a YBB-103. These things seem to get the very long leadpipe creamed routinely. AFAIK, Yamaha still stocks replacements if this one can't be saved.

:wink: The tuba is resting comfortably after a two hour surgery. She is do for a chem clean and a little cosmetic work tomorrow. She should be back on her bottom bow in no time! Daryl
