Hello,

I am a university student and FINALLY have enough money to replace my old Cerveny 686. If anyone has one of these horns for sale, please contact me. I'm not set on these two horns, so if you have another good quality tuba let me know as well.

Thanks,
Dave

Miraphone 1290 used
This is not the newer model but I cannot tell much playing difference between the two. I am simply looking for something bigger with rotary valves. This is a 5/4 Piston valve, laquered tuba. Has a couple cosmetic dents and laquer is about 90%. This horn was chem-cleaned recently and includes a gig bag and hard case. E-mail me for more details.

FWIW, this 1290 is a killer big horn, taller than most and with a nearly 20" bell. Big, very dark sound and open low register. Intonation manageable, slides very accessable. Heavily tweaked by Lee Stofer. This was one of the better 1290's made even before it spent some time with "the man". If I legitimately needed a 5/4 horn, I would buy it back in a second.

are so new that there are very few up for sale used as yet. Both are quite affordable new compared to some of the other instruments that are around. If you check out the Bessons on any new web site, you will find the price to be quite high, but this is not the REAL price. The Music Group makes the dealers advertise this price.

It's gone quite a few days ago, nobody placed a bid, also, it is one of the older models, not the new ones.
