FYI,
The Boston Symphony Orchestra is selling its Hirsbrunner (Yorkbrunner) via Dave Fedderly at his shop, the Baltimore Brass Company. This horn is a fantastic 6/4 instrument and was played by Chester Schmitz while he was with the BSO. It is in great condition and is one of the earlier models which was handmade. I've played the instrument and it plays very well.
For further information, please contact the Baltimore Brass Company directly at:
www.baltimorebrass.net
Toll Free: (866) TUBA-230 (866-882-2230)
Local or outside of US: (410) 744-1723
Fax: (410) 744-0683
Cheers,
