Time to clean out my living room again--it's getting too crowded and I need to make some room.
I'm kicking this off with a big 6/4 bell front Martin BBb from the 1950's. In very good condition, raw brass, 3 valves top-action. 26" bell, 0.720" bore. No significant dents anywhere. A very nice player. It has the short Martin leadpipe; I've replaced the old receiver with one that takes standard Conn tuning bits, a set of which I'll also throw in.
If you've ever sat behind the mouthpiece on one of these beasts, you know what kind of sound a Martin puts out.
I'll try to get some photos up fairly soon. I'm asking $1200+shipping for this magnificient beast.

The tuba is obviously invisible. Like the emperor's clothes.
That's my dream, a big tuba taking no space and easy to move.

Okay, I admit that I haven't a clue to the meaning of what you just wrote. Is this some sort of Swedish humor or is there a problem with the web page?

I have no problem with the web page, maybe it's a problem in Sweden? Looks just like mine. It's a great horn when you are the only one laying down the bottom for a large band, especially outdoors.

Yes, there are problems. The index page opens nicely. The pictures are however empty, despite existing links. Hence the comment.

There are no problems in opening JPG-pictures from other homesites, only from yours.

They display for me both from work (through a proxy server) and from home. There must be a problem on the receiving end.

Okay, evidently your ISP's up there
way north of the Mason-Dixon line are a bit paranoid about images that are kept in folders named "ads". I've edited the web page and the post above.
...and even though there is a weak dollar, I will most definitely

Now the emperor has got his clothes back and the tuba is not invisible anymore. Very nice instrument by the way.
Despite being a Swede, I don't love lutfisk either. It's beloved Christmas food here...
