This great instrument is about a year and a half old. I used it in the NY Philharmonic. It is one of the best 6/4 tubas you will ever play. I paid over $19,000 for it, but it has a few scratches and a dent on the bottom bow, so I am asking $18,000. Includes a soft case. You pay shipping. Don't miss this one!

Something to consider - This is a real value considering the almost new condition of this tuba, the current exchange rate, and the fact that it was used and appreciated in the NY Phil..

While I have not played it, I have heard Kyle play it in recital and have seen it and heard it up close during a demonstration of orchestral excerpts for a class. This horn is truly amazing. The small dent in the bottom bow(from the icy winter conditions of the north east) is not even a factor in how this thing plays. It's a shame this horn has been on the market so long. If I had the money(which I don't, being a college student) I would jump on this horn. Bump for Kyle.

This tuba keeps getting cheaper considering the exchange rate!

I appreciate the bumps, but can we keep this to serious buyers only? It's a wonderful tuba that happens to be expensive. Let's leave it at that. Thanks.

The York copies horns are not to be laughed at. These horns cost serious dough for a reason, and are well worth it. It sounds like a hell of a good deal to me.
