Hi all,

For sale: Miraphone 186 CC, 5 Rotary valves.

This is the perfect professional level tuba for the aspiring college or high school tuba player. It's a very versatile tuba that works well in bands and orchestras of any size as well as brass quintets and as a solo instrument. It has been used for all of these purposes and especially in many professional orchestras including Cleveland Orchestra.

This is a 5 Rotary Valve tuba purchased new in 1999 by current owner, just checked over completely by brass repair technician who services some of the Cleveland Orchestra's brass instruments. It has good intact original lacquer and solid intonation. Mouthpiece not included. Shipping will be by UPS and will be professionally packaged and insurance is required. Please e-mail me your zip code for a shipping/packaging estimate.

New, this Miraphone is listed at $4800 by Woodwind and Brasswind of South Bend, Indiana. I am offering it at $3900. I can't emphasize enough what a great tuba this is and how enjoyable it is to play. My present performance needs have changed and this instrument is no longer one that I use.

Please e-mail or post for further details.

Yes the horn on e-bay is the same one that was being sold here. It has been sold, so I thank you all for your interest. Sorry that it took so long to reply to this, but I had no access to e-mail for a week.
