Well, its value probably hasn't changed much in a year. So if you feel $2000 was a fair price a year ago, it probably still is. I typically see used 4V Miraphone tubas going for between $2000 and $2500. It depends on the key of the horn -- CC tubas will typically sell for a bit more than BBb.

Sources to check to help you determine an asking price include monitoring this site's For Sale list, eBay, and watching the prices of used horns at Dillon Music, Baltimore Brass, Woodwind & Brasswind, or at BassClefBrass.com. After looking at the used tubas at these sites, you should be able to develop a feel for a price range for your tuba.
