OK, I know I'm taking a long shot here, but does anyone have a Gronitz PCK for sale?
Thanx...

Check out their page.

Also here the the Gronitz page.

I really like the way their piston Bb horn looks. Maybe after I get my accident settlement, in about 4 years, I'll buy one.
Hope this helps.

Thanx for the info! I contacted TubaExchange last week, just to see if their advertised "sale price" would hold in the face of Euro vs. Dollar - it didn't, and they don't even have any in stock.
I'm looking to sell my Mirafone 190 CC and get one of these horns. I tried Tommy Johnson's PCK, and it's a dynamite axe. Tony Clements has some on order, and I'll probably end up getting one off his next shipment. Just thought I'd troll around and see if anyone has a used one for sale.

Bada bing bada bump...
Just out of curiosity, has anybody here even seen one of these things used? With the Euro bodyslamming the buck, I'm scared what one of these things is gonna set me back new.
Thanx...

I have not seen one of these in person, but, I have heard about it. I was talking to someone this week that was test running one of these. He said that the tone was AWESOME but the intonation needed work. He said that he had to "lip" a lot to get the thing to play in tune. I have talked with others about this to find that they have experienced first hand, or heard that the intonation was exceptional. I am not sure if it was a mpc problem or a horn problem. I am still interested in the PBK, as a serious choice, when I can return to playing.
Lee Stofer is the one that sent this horn (PCK). Not sure if he has anymore or not.
Drop him a line. He is a SUPER GUY!

Thanx for the input! I've had a chance to play two PCKs here in SoCal - Tommy Johnson's (laquered), the other one belonging to a student at UCLA (silver). Both great horns, although I kinda liked the response on Tommy's a little better. Seemed a little "quicker off the line".
The silver horn I played today was a little squirrely on bottom line G. Anyone else find this to be the case? Also, for those who have played a PCK alongside a PCM, how would you say the two compare?
Thanx...
