Surprisingly big sound for a little horn. Good response. Nice practice tuba if you you’re in a small space. I used it primarily as a Dixieland jazz tuba but also works fine in brass quintet. If you have to stand and play it’s light enough that I didn’t even use a strap. Nice 1st C tuba for a young or smaller player.
One small dent shown in the pic and another dent on the bottom of the instrument A few problematic notes pitch-wise that I could fix by lipping.
