Miraphone 1261

Bought this 1261 from another TubeNetter a few years back for college, and now I'm at that point where I play once a year, horn is gathering dust, got a kid, etc. Hope we can find this axe a new home.
Miraphone 1261 Eb, serial #9007978. You can find quite a bit on these horns if you search, or ask me any questions you have. Tuba will come with a MTS hard case and a Reunion Blues gig bag. Horn is in perfect cosmetic shape except for a small ding on the bell (niece knocked over my wife's trumpet soft cast and one of the little metal feet caught the edge of the bell). These are bigger (physically and sounding) than a lot of other Eb's out there. I used this in everything from large ensembles, low brass choirs and even did a recital with her.
Asking $3500, and that will include shipping via your preferred courier (UPS,FedEx or USPS) to lower 48. Horn is located in Williamsburg, VA. Any and all are welcome to stop by and try it out. If you purchase and you'd rather not ship your new baby, I'd be happy to drive and meet you anywhere in the mid-Atlantic within reason.
Open to all reasonable offers - would consider taking a Bb or Eb sousaphone or helicon in as partial trade, even if they're beaters. Like I said, I only play once a year
Will get some pics up soon.
