Does anyone know about re-laquering a tuba?

Looking for opinions and advice here.

Talk to Dan Oberloh about the dents and lacquering. He is near you. http://www.oberloh.com/

Also, have you talked with Ryan Schultz about the PT-6P? I assume you know he owns one and I also assume that you know this is a large tuba. Much larger than your son's BBb.

Thanks

Yes, Ryan recommended the MW2155 and the PT-6P for Brandon. Brandon is young but very into playing his tuba, so we do what Ryan suggests. Brandon is only having lessons every other week during the summer and I didn’t want to over load Ryan with emails about buying tubas any more then I already have, so I thought I would go here.

Yes, Oberloh is the place where Brandon’s Karl Ziess (For Sale) has been chem cleaned and maintained. I will call them today. Thanks!

I was curious about the un-lacquering. That’s seems like a radical way to change the sound on a tuba and I haven’t heard much about it. Just looking for more info. Thanks!
