or rather why trade a piggy for an f? Lol I have the same horn, and I love it. It may not be the biggest horn out there obviously but it's fun and it's definitely a well made horn, as all the cerveny's ive played are

Because F tubas are fun.

From time to time, I've considered owning ONLY an F tuba. I don't play ALL the time like I used to, and a big F tuba just has a really distinct sound. I also think it's cool to have a band section with both contrabass and bass tubas.
