Bloke does not mention how it plays, but if it is anything like mine, it is a plug-and-play horn with a very good scale!

A this price, it is a lot of tuba for the money

Note to self: bloke sells on consignment. I wish I had known that or thought to ask before now.

How similar is this to a Miraphone 186? I would guess comparable, but doesn't break up quite as fast.

Is this a 4 valve tuba where you might miss the 5th valve, or one where it's solid enough (and with the 1st valve being slick) able to do just fine without it.]?

How stiff/open is the low range?

Damn... if this were around back in the spring, I would have jumped on it. Slick looking tuba, still mulling it over...

When the contractor wants to see a German horn I use
my 184cc. For the main axe American style piston tuba players,
this horn should fit the bill when the money man looks for rotors.
Wide color range on this horn?
Joe

I'm surprised to see it back. That's priced to *sell*!

Cant believe this tuba is still up. Bloke has a very good price on it, and the gig bag is included. This would be a great "starter" CC tuba, or just a very good all-around/quintet/chamber tuba

I'd snatch it up myself if I had the dough :!:

Is this actually still for sell? I saw it months ago and thought it would surely be gone when I found the link this morning.
