SOLD PT-6PS with Baer Mods

For Sale: Silver PT-6P with Baer Modifications. The horn was purchased from Custom Music in 2011 from a batch of 8 PT-6's. This is an absolutely stellar example of a PT-6P and after Alan Baer did the modifications this great horn just came alive. Pitch is stellar as well.

Mods are awesome. Low register became responsive and clear, clarity throughout the range, took care of stuffy notes and overall horn has a much bigger presence in the ensemble. All valves were vented and aligned by Alan as well as his modifications to the 4th slide and main tuning slide. The horn is in excellent condition with some surface scratches and the two small dents in the bottom bow that happened when shipping the horn back from NY. Other than that the horn is in pristine shape. Right now these horns go for $14,080 from wwbw + $1000 for the Baer mods and $650 for the custom bag puts it at just under $16,000 new. I'm asking $10,000 OBO and motivated to sell.
It comes with a custom two tone leather Cronkhite gig bag. The horn is located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Selling in order to downsize a bit and go back to a 4/4 Hirsbrunner to match my playing needs a little better. Otherwise wouldn't be selling this killer horn.
