I have decided to put for sale my F tuba. This is a great F tuba with a large sound. The model (PT-17; 4100 II), is the B&S version of the formerly "Apollo" model developed by VMI for Mel Culbertson. The PT-17 has the exact same body as the Apollo but isn't in gold plated finish. The tuba is in excellent condition as being only played in special occasion, so very minimal usage throughout the years.
Here are the specifications for the tuba:
Model: PT-17 (model 4100 II) in lacquer finish with leadpipe in gold brass removable
Valves: 4 + 2 (4 right hand; 2 left hand); all rotary
Condition: tuba is 7 years old and was purchased new from Custom Music (Neal Campbell). The lacquer is at 99% and has very minimal mini dings and scratches, which is coming from normal usage.
Bell dimension: 17 3/4" (450 mm)
Height: 37 inches (94 cm)
Bore: graduated 19-21 mm (0.748"-0.827")

The tuba will be sold with an 8 years old gig bag (tuba exchange model, black color)

Price is for the tuba, gig bag and a PT-65 silver mouthpiece; shipping at buyer's expense.

Bump for a great tuba!
As an additional information, the leadpipe is in gold brass and is interchangeable.
I would be willing also to drive a couple of hundreds miles to accommodate any serious potential buyer.
