COuld you record a demo in a more tuba friendly setting? Church, recital hall, etc. I could be interested.

For $1,600? . . just buy the horn! These are still standard fixture tubas in England, so this is an absolute steal.
If you can get use to playing 3+1, these make great quintet horns (think Fletcher!). Use a smallish m.p. and you can play all that high Berlioz and Mendelssohn stuff just fine too.

Then this should make a great 'double' for you. If the M&M is like the old Booseys, it shouldn't be mouthpiece sensitive. Hence, you can stick in a big Dennis Wick piece and use it in community bands and orchestras. Stick in a smaller piece and work up the Vaughan Williams or Gregson. They're very versatile.
