Miraphone 181 F Tuba for sale.

I've owned this horn for about 2 and 1/2 years now. I first purchased it off of The Tuba Exchange. This horn has a beautiful, huge F tuba sound. The high register is especially smooth and responds excellently. The rotary valves feel wonderful and have never given me any trouble. I am selling this horn because I just bought a Petrushka which much better suits my needs as a tubist who plays many different kinds of music. I am sad to see this horn go. This is the perfect F tuba for the orchestral tuba player. I'm asking $6,500 for the instrument and a Protec gig bag. No trades please. The horn is located in Denton, TX (Dallas/Ft. Worth area). I can't speak for this particular horn, but I can speak for this model of 181. I own one of these and absolutely love it. Really rich sound that plays very well in an orchestra or quintet. Mine is my go to quintet instrument. Highly recommended! Good luck with the sale!
