Hi folks, I acquired these 2 W. Meinl Weston, Division of Getzen tubas and not I'm able to find any info on the models. I will be selling both and would like to be realistic with valuation.
There is a small 4 piston with p4-135 stamp. I'm guessing 3/4 size.
The other is a 4 rotary valve 4/4 size with no markings I can find.
They were both high school instruments with some wear and repairs.

The piston valve horn looks like a model 11. The rotary may be a 25.

Thanks Tom, I know I didn't give much description or enough pictures. Plan on doing better today. I was tired and frustrated with my ineptness at getting the pics onto photo bucket.

Agreed. I am pretty familiar with the 11, in particular. Many others here know the models better than I do, and may know for sure whether the rotary is a model 25, which is one of the more popular MWs. I went to the Geretsreid factory in 2001, and have great memories of it. A lot of traditional craftsmen worked there, making horns by hand, mostly. It was not ultra-modern, but it had a great "vibe."
