Hey! My Miraphone is still for sale and i'm willing to let it go for 2900$US.
The low price is only because i have an urgent need of money for school and i need to sell it quickly..
The F tuba i have is a Miraphone 181, 5 valves, Goldbrass and unlacquered. This 181 is one of the first that Miraphone did. It doesn't have the same configuration as the new miraphone 181. It's more like the B&S pre-perantucci configuration. This tuba was Cherry Beauregard's F tuba while he played in Rochester symphony orchestra. The tuba has 2 leadpipes and 2 5th valves slides. The overall condition of the tuba is very good. It plays well in all register(including the low!) and the intonation is very good with the right mouthpiece (the miraphone 181 is a mouthpiece sensitive instrument..). For me, a RM-9 and the Pt-65 were the best. That's one of the best ''german'' F tuba i've played!
Please email me if you want a pic or if you are interested..
