I'm guessing this horn is from the 50's or 60's. It is a project instrument. Yes, the bell kranz is there with Gebr. Alexander Mainz engraved on it. Lightweight for its size. The leadpipe needs to be replaced to make it playable. Leadpipe has been patched numerous times and it currently leaks.
The bell has been damaged and fixed numerous times, but no cracks and the kranz is solid. Lots of dents and dings. The worst are in the pics.
The tuba is NOT PLAYABLE as it is. It needs extensive work. The valves are free and the clocksprings work. Some slides are stuck. It needs a total overhaul.
$1800 OBO. I'll ship via FedEx or UPS, but your payment clears first and you pay the shipping cost. I do have a box.
The tuba is in Winston-Salem, NC.
