My rotor was sticking, and only when I had it apart did I notice the missing bumper. I can walk to Home Depot, and 3 dollars later, 1/4 inch vinyl tubing is my new bumper. It is not lovely but it works fine.
I have almost 10 feet of vinyl left for further replacement.

Using tubing... how did you accomplish the rotor alignment?

Play testing was as technical as that got. The horn is a Meinl Weston, it seemed as though the rotors were unaccountably easy to put in correctly.

I have replaced the worn bumpers on my Norwegian Star Eb by pieces of a 7mm section diameter industrial NBR O-ring (shore hardness 70 I guess). I took the widest diameter O-ring I could find, so that the round shape is neglectable for short pieces.
Trimmable with a sharp hobby knife, will not wear out in the next XX years I guess.
Alignment was almost perfect before trimming, so I was lucky.
