For sale is my Berliner valve Eb Tuba. This was munched when I got it, and now it isn't and can be yours.

This horn is an absolute MONSTER of a player, with amazing compression for its age. It easily outplays a brass band as a solo tuba, and I have been using it with both of the Civil War Bands in my area.

The 1st valve stem is longer than the other 2, but it plays great and does not bother me so I left it alone.

The pictures are before the work, during the work, from the day I finished putting it back together, and as you can see from the last photos It has been cleaned up a bit and has patina'd out to match more closely all around.

Price is $800 OBO.

This is a VERY early Berliner valve contrabass Eb saxhorn...I believe pre war.....a great deal for this instrument!

It is built in high pitch, roughly A=450. There is plenty of pull on all of the slides to bring it down to modern pitch. One of the bands I use it in plays at both A=450 and A=440.
