I'm selling my much loved Rudy with aluminium flight case and burgundy coloured gig bag included in price.

I'm looking to sell for *€7,500 (US$8,500)*

The tuba is in very good shape, recently serviced at Brass Centrum by Ullrich Harzer in Copenhagen (He has worked on Joseph Alessi's slides).

Lead pipe and tuning slide are Red Brass

The bell is unlacquered.

Trigger on 2nd valve.

Beautiful, big warm sound, great intonation with the 2nd valve trigger added.

The tuba is in Malmö, Sweden, where I am the solo tubist at the Malmö Opera.
People can come and test the tuba whenever they want. Shipping at buyers expense.

Just in case you might be hesitant about the seller as this is his first post, let me jump in and say that Tones is a great guy and will be a pleasure to deal with. This is a very fine tuba, and I'm surprised to see that Tones is selling it.

When I first started playing the Rudy in the Australian Youth Orchestra, I tripped over with it (in its gig bag) and totalled the bell.

Luckily nothing else was damaged so I ordered a second bell from Rudolf Meinl and had my repair guy in Sydney pop off the broken bell and put on the new raw brass bell.

I preferred the feel of the raw brass bell and made me wish I'd ordered the whole tuba raw brass!

I keep coming back here, just to look...somebody needs to buy this.
