FS: Bach Mercedes 4-valve BBb $1500

Post by brytora »

For Sale - Bach Mercedes 4-valve BBb tuba with hard case. Originally purchased used from Whichita Band Instrument Co. in 2012. Recently had valve work performed and new valve springs and pads installed. Some laquer issues and dings (purchased that way) but plays very well. I am currently a college freshman looking to move to a CC horn. Asking $1500, buyer to pay shipping. Let me know if you would like more photos or need any questions answered. Tuba is located in central Kentucky, and I would be willing to drive a few hours and meet up for the sale.

B flat version of a conn 2j ? Looks about the same. If so, good horn.

Looks pretty good. Very useful size and easy to play in tune. Good for a beginner or an experienced player. A lot of horn for the money. Keep it for five years and, if it is still in this shape, sell it for the same amount you paid! With case!
