FS: York BBb Sousaphone

Hello all,
My first attempt at a post didn't go through, so trying again.
Long time lurker, first time poster. I have a sousaphone which I no longer use and am putting it up for sale. It is a very large York BBb 3 valve sousaphone with a 26 inch bell and the diameter where the bell joins the body is 7.5 inches. I have photos which I can send to interested parties, I am unable to upload them here. The serial number is 71438. I had some work done on it about 15 years ago and had the leadpipe replaced so I could play it with a different, more comfortable neck, which is included (I think it is a Conn neck). Some dents and dings and other repairs as one would expect in a horn this old. The original leadpipe and neck are also included and could be reattached. It is a heavy horn, in the mid 30 pound range. It is loud and has a good, dark tone. Valves are good and the tuning slides all move freely. It has the usual intonation problems that you would expect with a horn of this age, but I was usually able to play any problem notes pretty close with some pulling or lipping. It has a rectangular Unitec case that protects it very well. It made a few cross country journeys via freight truck and airplane in that case without any damage. The case and horn combined are around 95 pounds. I live in Chicago so pick up or arranging to meet if possible would be best. I can ship via Greyhound otherwise. I would like to get around $2000 for both, but I will consider other offers. Please let me know if you have any questions and feel free to PM me.
Thank you,
Rob
