I am looking to sell my Meinl Weston 2145s. I bought this horn new about 2 years ago from Dillon Music. This horn has 4 steel piston MAW valves and a fifth rotary valve played with a right hand thumb trigger. The horn has had the first valve vented, the tuning slide made to fit perfectly into the horn without sliding out, and some valve work done by Matt "The Tuba Whisperer" Walters which has made the valve action extremely smooth and responsive. The horn has a couple small dents in the bell and one dent that has been almost fully removed on the fifth valve slide. All of which are purely cosmetic and do not affect playing in the slightest. This horn has a razor sharp response and a beautiful color to its sound which I have not found in any similarly sized CC tuba. This horn is the perfect size for chamber settings, but it has also held its own for me in full sized ensembles with ease. The horn would come with all rotary valve tools, Meinl Weston Black Gig bag, and full sized microfiber cloth bag that the horn fits inside of. I truly have loved playing on this horn however the opportunity has presented itself to me to buy my dream horn and to do that I need to sell this horn. I am pricing this horn at $7,000, but am looking to sell so if you are truly interested email me at cl838204 (at) wcupa (dot) edu
Pictures will be available by request

To all who have emailed me about the horn, I apologize for the wait and lack of communication from myself. I was out of town with several concerts this weekend and will be emailing the requested pictures very soon. To everyone else the horn is still available. It is located in Pennsylvania near Philadelphia and I would prefer not to ship the horn, though I will drive several hours to meet potential buyers.
