Selling my Rotary Neptune. I'm switching back to piston tubas as I've played those for most of my life, and while I do actually love the feel of the valves on this particular tuba, I've just decided to switch back is all.

I'm pricing this tuba to sell quick, so $6,000 for the horn plus an Altieri gig bag. There are some small spots of lacquer wear and places where a previous owner had some dents rolled out, but that's it. Otherwise, horn is in great shape.

I'd prefer not to ship but would be willing to drive several hundred miles to meet someone for a sale if need be. I'm in Kennesaw, GA (roughly 20 miles north of Atlanta).

(Also, I have a BMB J445 F for sale. Silverplated, almost 2 years old. Perfect condition minus one dent on the side from when I lent the horn to a student. I know there are a few of these for sale on the board right now, but like the Neptune.....I'm pricing to sell. $3,000 for the tuba, gig bag, and a gold plated PT-65 mouthpiece).

F tuba is sold!!!

Neptune is off hold for the moment, and I won't be selling it soon. My plan was to sell this horn and use the money towards the purchase of a large piston tuba.
However....on my ride home this weekend from dropping the F tuba off for the buyer, my engine gave out and I had to actually buy a new car to be able to get home. So I'll hold on to the Neptune for now. If anything changes, I may post something in a few months.
