This forum is for buying or selling your personal equipment. Sponsored selling is allowed as well. All ads are required to have the following information: Price (even for trades), brand, model, and location (City and State, for instruments, not accessories). It is acceptable to link to an external ad if you are promoting a sale of your personal equipment. No Ebay auctions, but "Buy It Now" listings are fine. Photos are HIGHLY suggested as well, and may be hosted on Google Drive, or elsewhere. If you see an ad that does not meet these criteria, please report it.
This 3-valve Holton 4/4 BBb dates from 1959. It measures about 33" long, has a 20.5" diameter bell and 0.656" bore. It puts out an immense amount of quality sound for such a compact instrument. The low register ROCKS! The overall condition is good+. It does have one large and one small patch on the lead pipe and a couple largish dents in the bottom bow on the side away from the bell. The valves look worn, but they hold some compression and based on the sound the horn puts out don't leak to any appreciable degree. This is truly an amazing player that will make a new owner very happy. I'm asking $1250 plus shipping. There is a very solid, beautifully hand-built case included.
