Summary
I want to start of by saying that some of you may have already seen the horn that I am going to put up for sale, and a lot of you were interested in it. I posted it a while ago, under the name "Figg" (I dont remember my password or email I use for it, so I had to make this new one).
Let me clear the air a bit, because from what I saw, some started to think that my post was fake. My post was not fake. I am not going to get into detail, but in the time that I was trying to sell that horn, a lot of personal issues occurred, and when I thought they were over, they came back and I just didnt have the time to get this out.
All of those problems are gone and I now have the time to sell this. I assure you nothing will happen and when you message me, you will definitely get a response. So here it goes...
----------------------------------------------
Horn Details
I am selling my Jupiter 584L C tuba. It is a 5 valve lacquer horn (with what looks like to be a rose brass leadpipe). I bought this new in February of 2015. It has served me well. In my opinion, it has a very nice bottom end. Here is the information;
- Jupiter 584L
- Gard Gig Bag (the inside fabric is ripped. I have been told that it can be replaced but I dont know)
- Jupiter hard case
The hard case is in ok condition. The hard case has been used a lot unfortunately. The wheels are ok but there is a crack at the top of the case which happened while loading the tuba for a concert (the guy didn't care, he just threw everything he saw on the truck).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Price
After thinking about it, I was a little too generous with the price, for this being a horn that is one year old. I was encouraged to price it right. So I am pricing it at $3250.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are interested or have any questions, you may email me, or send me a message. I get it if the interested people back away from this with the concern that this could be another joke. But as I said, everything is a ok, and I am looking to move this.
Pictures to come tomorrow, or you may refer to the old post to get a gist of it. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=67027&hilit=Jupiter+584L+C" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank

I have had some modifications done to the horn. Here is some information on that.Concert Model, 5 Valve (4 Piston + 1 Rotor), .732" Graduated Bore, flat whole step 5th valve slide, stainless steel pistons, mechanical-link tapered rotary valve, lacquered brass body, nickel silver outer slides, 17.4" bell, ABS molded case (KC-96AC),
Im going to be taking pictures of the horn again to show the current condition. There are some added dings. In this deal, you will get;The receiver was never actually fit for an american or euro shank mouthpiece. The receiver is now modified to fit an american shank mouthpiece. Also, I replaced the valve buttons with red buttons made by Martin A. Wilk. Original valve buttons have been sold for a while now.
