I have for sale a Conn 20K Sousaphone. The finish is bright silver and is 95% intact. It has scratches and some dings throughout. The metal is pretty thick on this one despite being a newer model 20K. Metal guard strips throughout. The valves are very smooth with no plating wear. Compression is very good throughout as you are able to hear a nice "pop" when the tuning slides are pulled. The valves are aligned with the standoff inserts from JL Smith Co, which are advertised as never to wear out vs. using cork. Also installed are neoprene inserts for the water keys. It comes with a silver neck and a Neotech bottom bow protector. Asking $2500 OBO w/shipping included via Greyhound within the US.

When was it made and does it come with a case?

I'm unsure of the year. The serial number is 790xxx, but I don't think it was made back in 1959-60. It doesn't come with a case.
