Hi all,

This posting is for a Fletcher replica model 4 valve (3 piston valves up top one on the side) tuba pitched in E-flat. The tuba and case go for $2450 new. I am asking only $1750. I purchased and played the horn while studying at the University of Texas at Austin and loved it's versatility while playing in both large wind ensembles and quintets. I have recently purchased a BBb Miraphone and have no need for the horn anymore since graduating. It is in great condition and could function well for a converting euphonium player because of the 3 1 setup with the 4th valve being located on the side of the horn. Here are some more details about the horn from the MM website:

Description
• 880mm/35" (Height)
• 480mm/19" (Bell diameter)
• 17.5mm/.698" (Bore Size)
• Hand Built
• Stainless Steel Piston
• Foambody Case

I am willing to drive up to 400 miles to meet you (half way) to sell the horn. As a teacher, I have a few months of availability over the summer! You can direct questions to nick.doshier@gmail.com" target="_blank

It's more than likely a copy of the Besson Sovereign 981. No carriage rings and a straight lead pipe, whereas the 980 and 982 have the curved one.
