Medium size York Eb SOLD

Got a cash offer North of Stupid. Thank you.
$450 (Or offer North Of Stupid) plus buyer covers shipping costs. This is the medium size York Eb that stands 33" tall. 15" upright bell and 3 top action pistons. Raw brass tuba has no cracks, is ugly but nice and thick with original York guard wires that tells me it has never been overhauled and buffed out. That is why I originally bought it for a F tuba conversion project that I never got around to doing. There is a Conn 5J receiver installed so it will accept standard American shank tuba mouthpieces. Plays A=440 with the main tuning slide 3/4 the way out. Yeah, it's got that York sound and a pretty good scale for an old Eb tuba. Valves are original meaning it plays best with thicker oils. I will give the horn a full chemical clean and service with new corks and felts prior to shipping or buyer picking up the tuba. Expect $150-$250 in FedEx freight shipping costs depending on where you live. Whatever my cost is plus about $20 to cover the Packing material from Dillon Music is what I'll charge. Will consider driving in your direction if it works out to a pleasant road trip for the wife and me.
I'll only ship via Greyhound if you give me an extra $1000 to compensate that I have to give up a vacation day, rent a bigger vehicle, rent a body guard for half a day, pay the tolls and parking fees to drive to Newark,NJ, carry the box from god knows how far away, stand in line, drive back forever getting caught in a traffic jam, drop off the bigger car, drop off the body guard, and go immediately home to take a shower.
Email me at work email for a picture or two, give my your zip code and name of town so I can include a shipping quote. Matt at dillonmusic dot com TubeNet email or personal message goes to the same email.
