Holton TR180 Bass Trombone (Denver) - 1970s Vintage

Post by tmz1m »

For sale is my Holton TR 180 double-valve bass trombone. The trombone includes a hard case and has a dependent F/D wrap with an extra tuning slide to make it F/Eb. Horn is in good condition and the lever for the second valve was modified at some point to make it more ergonomic. Horn also has a custom press fit venturi that is a replica of a Holton TR169 and was made by Kanstul.

Serial # puts its date of manufacture somewhere in the mid-1970s.

$1150 + $50 shipping via UPS. PayPal accepted.

Also have a Doug Yeo replica mouthpiece -- nearly new condition. Works great in this horn, would be glad to include for $50 or to sell separately for $50 (including shipping in lower 48).

Thought I priced it fairly, but feel free to make an offer.

Also, I measured in response to a question and the bell is 10 inches.

Thank you, I think it will be great for someone. I did have a question for pictures of the slide. The slide seems to work really well, no issues. Pictures:
