Horn has been sold
I am selling my lacquer 2165. Horn was purchased in 2016 in "demo" condition from Buffet Group. From what I was told this may have been the last 2165 made, but I am not sure of the exact age of the instrument. Lacquer is in 100% minus the area where I changed the leadpipe (see pictures). Aside from some minor scratches and dents in the bell (and one on the back side of the bottom bow) this horn is in mint condition. All slides and valves move great.
I have a custom made by Martin Wilk 45slp leadpipe that I had put on the horn by Daniel Parker at CIOMIT who did a really amazing job. The leadpipe is floating and the response of the horn is really great because of it. I have the stock leadpipe that I am selling with the horn. PVAK system is on the valves and valves 1,3,4 are vented. Also comes with a mint condition cordura Chronkite gig bag.
