With some regret, I need to reduce my collection. I have for sale, a 1921 Frank Holton Eb Helicon. It is silver plate, 95% intact. (There are a few spot on the inside of the bell where the silver is missing.) The bell is 20 inches in diameter. It has one large patch on the outer wrap of the horn near the bottom. It has been plated over in silver so you don't see it and it does not affect the sound. It has been tuned to 440 by Lee Stofer. Valves are in great shape. I played this horn at Tuba Christmas and in parades. It has a great sound. I will send pictures to those with a serious inquiry. I'm asking $1700 (now $1500 plus shipping) (now $1100 plus shipping). If you are looking for a great helicon, here is a rare opportunity to own one. One final drop for spring now $750.
